SUZOHAPP provides the metro in Chennai, India with Bill-to-Bill™ banknote recyclers

Oud-Beijerland, The Netherlands - SUZOHAPP is a leading manufacturer of
advanced bill validation technology as well as a reliable partner for cash handling
components and solutions in the public transport sector.

The SUZOHAPP Bill-to-Bill™ range is the most efficient currency management system
designed to validate and recycle banknotes and that's why the Bill-to-Bill™ 200XE note
recycler has been chosen by the Chennai Metro in India for the installation in their
Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVM).

Chennai is the fourth largest city in India with a population of about 8 million. The city
has been growing rapidly and the traffic volumes on the roads have also been
increasing enormously. Hence the need for a new fast, reliable, convenient and
efficient mode of public transport. The Government of India started the Chennai Metro
Rail Project in 2009 and the system commenced revenue service in 2015 after
partially opening during the first phase of the project, which consists of lines along
two corridors covering a length of 45.1 km.

The second stretch of metro rail project - 8.61 km from Little Mount to the Airport
station - was inaugurated on Wednesday, September 21st by Chief Minister
Jayalalithaa and Venkaiah Naidu, Minister of Urban Development, Housing & Urban
Poverty Alleviation.

The total number of ATVMs installed in the Chennai metro is 58 and keeps growing -
the first 35 units were placed during the first phase of the project and an additional 23
machines were installed with the inauguration of Phase 2.

"With the opening of the nine-kilometer metro lane in Chennai, around 324 km of
metro rail will be operational in the country" said Mr. Venkaiah Naidu. "This not only
reduces traffic congestion but also reduces pollution. The ridership is expected to be
775,000 per day" added Mr. Naidu.

"The Chennai metro chose our Bill-to-Bill™ note recyclers as the ideal solution for all-in-
one automated cash management solutions. We are proud that our advanced
technology contributed to creating a world-class public transport system" commented
Mr. Brijesh Shah, Director Business Development SUZOHAPP India.

"We are excited to be part of such an important project which will improve mobility
for the Indian people. This is a great opportunity to again demonstrate our strong
commitment to the public transport industry" concluded Mr. Geoff McDowell,
SUZOHAPP APA Managing Director.
