The Demo and Comm Analyzer tool allows demo scripts to be sent to the printer to test communication and functionality of a printer. The tool also has a debug mode which allows you to monitor the communication to and from the printer and PC for testing and developing.

PJTerminal is a tool to allow direct interactive communications to the printer. It will allow you to interactively send commands to and get responses from the printer. Documentation for this tool is included with the install.
We strongly recommend that any old versions of this software be uninstalled before this version is installed.

The Master Programmer tool is designed to be used in conjunction with our Master Programmer hardware, and allows the replacement/update of firmware image on multiple printers at once.
Instructions:
Step 1: Plug in "dongle" into printer's imPort (download port).
Step 2: There is no step 2, wait for step 1 to finish.
LED Blink Codes
Blinking Green - Working (may blink at different rates.)
Blinking Both - Waiting to be plugged into printer's imPort.
Alternating - "Happy Dance", printer is done being programed.
Red On - Error, see PC for description of error.
Note: Sometimes it may be necessary to manually put the printer into boot load mode. To do this, partially un-rack the printer, open the cover, and apply power while holding the feed button. (in this mode, disable the "verify" function)
This program may be configured to operate from 4 to 20 communications ports.
To alter the number of ports add a command line parameter as follows:
MasterBlaster.exe -ports:8
Where 8 may be from 4 to 20. The default is 8.

This is a utility for displaying the available USB ports on your system for Ithaca printers.
If an Ithaca printer is on the port, it will be shown in the list.

"ActiveX®" control that will allow you to send RAW data to the printer, no print driver needed.
This is for programmers who want complete control over the control codes sent to the printer.
Note: When installing the Printer OCX Control, you may experience the following error:
Error 1904.Module C:Program FilesTransActPosPrinterPOSPrinter.ocx failed to register. HRESULT -2147220473. Contact your support personnel.
If you run into this error, please download and install Microsoft's Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) from Microsofts website, and then you should be able to successfully install the Printer OCX Control without an error.
