INPUT CONNECTIONS

Two AWG 18 leads, 8 inches long, or power cord, 8 ft long, black or white

CONTROL (OPTIONAL)

Red (+) and brown (-) wires can be connected to an electronic controller to modulate neon brightness or to gate the unit on and off

Maximum "on" voltage : 1.20 V

Minimum "off" voltage : 2.50 V

Control current : 1.6 mA (5 V control voltage)

Absolute max. control voltage : 15 V

OUTPUT CHARACTERISTICS

Output is isolated from input for maximum flexibility of application. Shorted output supplies the rated current. Open circuit or excessive load will cause the unit to shut down, but special circuit will attempt to automatically restart power up to three times to avoid nuisance trips

Voltage : 8KV AC max. (actual voltage depends on load and will be equal to or lower than this value.)
