Position: Strategic Account Manager - OEM Gaming

Basic Description:
The Sales Representative is the focal point in establishing and maintaining working relationships with our customers. The primary responsibility is to increase sales revenues and margins through effective customer management.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Meet or Exceed sales goals for assigned territory.
  • Meet or Exceed margin goals for assigned territory.
  • Conduct outside sales visits through effective pre-call planning, scheduling and maximization of sales opportunities. Must travel 14 days per month to visit customers.
  • Aggressively work with customer to review new and current project proposals to determine customer needs and present a solution that results in new or increased revenue.
  • Analyzes research data and proposed product specifications to determine feasibility of product proposal.
  • Confidently convey technical issues throughout the customerís organization and internally.
  • Lead customer communications promptly and efficiently to handle all calls and inquires. Communicate SUZOHAPP capabilities back to customer regarding products, shipments and issues.
  • Be responsible for account ownership and management; handling purchase orders, maintaining schedules and inventory, understanding and communicating changes and conditions.
  • Establish and build excellent working relationships within the customerís organization and within SUZOHAPP. Coordinate effective and professional interactions within the customer and SUZOHAPP.
  • Work with Engineering and purchasing to follow-up on all leads, change orders, etc. in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate in an assertive and confident manner with customer to achieve best results for product pricing, engineering fees, tooling charges, settlement of product and delivery issues.
  • Assertively develop new business with existing accounts focusing on existing products or variations of existing products.
  • Participate in company improvement programs such as Kaizen events or Continuous Improvement Programs. Attend training and trade shows as required.
  • Must work ethically at all times and maintain the confidentiality of all customer and company knowledge.

  • Position Requirements:
  • To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Bachelorís degree in business or equivalent experience is required.
  • Two years of outside sales experience of manufactured products.
  • Minimum of two yearsí experience in the Gaming industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and CRM. Order entry experience required.
  • Valid driverís license is required.
  • Ability to become licensed according to gaming requirements, if required.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter with a high energy level and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must possess solid business judgment and have the ability to influence people.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential with high attention to detail.
