BROWSING AND PURCHASING PRODUCTS
How to begin using the shopping cart.
Browsing the products
is quite simple. Once you have chosen a catalog and
section as outlined in General
Help, use the mouse to "click" around on the
various products and any additional links that may be provided
within the product description and price pages.
Here is
what a typical product page looks like:

If you are logged in, the best
price available to you will be shown in the price column.
Click the "add to cart" button and you will see
a page like this:

Once at the Item Inquiry Screen,
you can adjust the quantity and add it to your cart.
To go back to the previous page without adding the item, click
the Back button on your browser.
SPECIAL NOTE:
In some cases, the "Back" and "Forward" buttons on your browser may not be available. You can go "Back" and "Forward" in most browsers by holding down the "Alt" key and using the left and right arrows to go back and forth through the last several pages you have browsed. On the Macintosh, the same function is performed by holding down the "Command" or "Apple" key and using the arrows to go back and forth. |
EASY ITEM ADDING
If you
happen to have a copy of a catalog in your hand, or if you have
a list of the exact part numbers that you need, there is a
very simple way for you to complete your order without having
to find the items in our online catalog.
You can
do this by clicking on the View Cart link on the top of the
page:
View
Cart
Once in the cart, you can see at the near the bottom of the table, a section that looks like the following:

Simply enter the first part number that you want to add and press the "Add an Item" button. Once pressed it will bring up the Item Inquiry page where you can change the amount that you want to add to your order. Then by pressing the "Add Item" you will be brought back to your cart and you can repeat the process again.
DUPLICATING ORDERS
Let's
say that there are certain items that your company orders
on a regular basis. By using your Order History you
can simply call up a previous order and order the same items
again, as well as modify that order to fit current needs.
Please visit the Order History
section to learn how this is done.
The next portion of the Shopping Cart Help Section is Adjusting Quantities. |
